Susan Ward was born in Monroe, Louisiana in 1976 and began modeling at the age of 13. She left school in Louisiana to move to New York and model and she soon found herself in Los Angeles looking into an acting career. In 1992 she had a small role in two episodes of the show Swans Crossing and that was when she was only 16 years old. Her career was off to a hot start when at 20 she was cast in the short-lived NBC series Malibu Shores. There were big hopes for it at the network but the nighttime soap only lasted ten episodes.
