Shailene Diann Woodley comes from Simi Valley in CA and 15 days into Nov this year, she will turn 19. She is known for her acting talent and has been present for 11 years. She started off in Replacing Dad (�99) and then went off to The District (�01-�02), Crossing Jordan (�01-�04), The OC (�03), Without a Trace (�03), Everybody Loves Raymond (�04), Jack & Bobby (�04-�05), Felicity: An American Girl Adventure (�05), My Name is Earl (�06), Close to Home (�07), CSI:NY (�07), Moola (�07) and The Secret Life of the American Teenager (�08-current).

Though she�s young, she received 4 nominations � 2 by Teen Choice Awards in �09 for The Secret Life of An American Teenager and 2 by Young Artist Awards for Felicity: An American Girl Adventure and A Place Called Home. This year, she actually won an award by Gracie Awards in the Outstanding Female Rising Star category for her work in The Secret Life. She is also currently working on The Descendants that�s due to come out next year. On a personal front, Shailene Woodley is also known as Shai and is battling scoliosis.

For a good year and a half she wore a back brace that assisted her in putting her back in the right position. It required being on all the time but when she�s filming, she�s allowed to remove it. She likes socializing with her mates and can name making clothes as one of her hobbies. Learning how to make music on guitar is also one of her interests and it was due to her colleague from the series that she�s making that she learnt the basics.

She believes that education is important and wishes to study at University of New York and gain more knowledge in psychology and decorations. In her spare time, she updates her own official website.
