Samantha Mathis comes from Brooklyn, NY and tuned 40 on 12th day of May this year. She is known for her acting skills. Her latest work involves Grey�s Anatomy (�09), Order of Chaos (�09), The New Daughter (�09), Royal Pains (�09) and Buried (�10). Her performances didn�t get unnoticed and she received recognitions by Young Artist Awards and Academy of Sci Fi, Fantasy and Horror Films as well as Screen Actors Guild Awards in Outstanding Performance in How To Make An American Quilt. Celebrity Sleuth and Celebrity Skin offered her their inside pages in the magazine, and Seventeen featured her on their front pages in mid nineties.

Altogether, she made over 60 different appearances in her career in different movies and series. Personally, River Phoenix, Christian Slater and Noah Wyle were her boyfriends. On a lighter side, her mum didn�t want her to get into the entertainment world, but living in LA and being surrounded by all that glitters made up her mind and just before her teens, she got into the industry that she is in today.

After her mum passed away, she retrieved from her work but came back a year later in the late nineties. Samantha Mathis is bilingual and speaks a European language and for that she can thank a bit of Royal Austrian blood in her.
