Poppy Montgomery was born in New South Wales, Australia and when she was 18 years old she moved to the United States to make her way in Hollywood. It was a long haul for her, as it is for most people that have any sort of success in the business. These things don't come quickly. Her first role was in the Denise Richards film "Tammy and the T-Rex" as Party Girl #1. It wasn't exactly a star-making turn. She had a small part in the Denzel Washington film "Devil in a Blue Dress" after that and was doing TV guest star parts along the way. Two episodes of "Silk Stalkings" came when she was just getting started.

Her early career is filled with small roles and her entire career might have stayed that way were it not for the TV movie "Blonde". It was the life story of Marilyn Monroe and Poppy was chosen from a huge crop of hopefuls. They wanted an unknown blonde and she fit the bill perfectly. They brought her in and she blew them away and just like that she was playing Norma Jean Baker. The movie made her a hot property and led to her casting on the CBS procedural drama Without a Trace, which she appeared on for 160 episodes until it was canceled after seven seasons.

She's still working and will no doubt continue to do so until they tell her to go home. That's not likely to happen anytime soon. If you're looking for Poppy Montgomery nude then you'll be disappointed because she's one of the few actresses to reveal almost no skin. The best you can do is a few sexy underwear scenes in stuff like "Blonde" or the movie "Glory Days" (2002). She just hasn't had a chance to do a super sexy role where nakedness would be required.
