Mackenzie Ryann Rosman comes from Charleston, South Carolina and 3 days after Christmas this year will turn 21. She sings and acts at the same time. She is popular thanks to her appearance for 11 years in 7th Heaven. She started acting when she was only 7 in the popular TV series and never looked back. It is exactly this work that saw her score 6 nominations and 1 win in the Young Artists Awards. Following the end of the long running series, she appeared in Proud American ('07), Edgar Allan Poe's Ligeia ('08) and has 3 movies coming out this year, including The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
Mackenzie Rosman lives in West Hollywood to be closer to her work but also likes farm life and her horses. Growing up in South Carolina she was surrounded by various animals from regular pets to all other farm animals. The love of horses saw her compete in jumping with her favorite Mentos Junior. When she's not acting, she actively supports the work of Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. This is a matter close to her heart as she lost her stepsister to that illness couple of years ago.
She is also involved in Childhelp Inc that assists those kids that are mistreated. As far as her singing goes, she sang few times in 7th Heaven. In her spare time and when she's not riding, involved in charities or helping those in need, she eats sushi, and loves casual sports. Her unique looks come from a bit on Native American heritage. Mackenzie Rosman was on the cover of TV Guide in '99 and a decade later featured in OK Magazine - US Edition in a section "Where are they now". It is also little known that she was in the ad for Kmart in her younger days.
