Only two months shy of her 3rd birthday, Jennifer Korbin suffered the loss of her mother, a tragic event that would bring her closer to her beloved grandmother, but also push her in the direction of becoming a tomboy. The youngest and only girl in her immediate family, Jennifer would pay tribute to her mother with a special tattoo, and begin a childhood ripe with sports, outdoor activities and Playboy. Soccer and competitive gymnastics were her main sporting interests, but when she had the chance to stay at home, Jennifer's Barbie collection morphed her into a fashion addict and later on, her brother's Playboy collection sparked her interest in high-class nude modeling. In high school, she also literally charmed the pants off her crush by beating him in a game of strip poker.

Upon entering adulthood, Jennifer Korbin quickly learned how to balance her modeling ambitions with her equally strong desire to study serial killers. After completing a degree in interior design, she was inspired by a viewing of The Silence of the Lambs to study psychology and criminal justice, and she did just that at Texas Women's University. At the same time, she signed a modeling contract with the famed Kim Dawson Agency, where she got her feet wet in shoe and modeling campaigns, but didn't find them to hold the appropriately sexy edge that she was looking for. The edge eventually came from Playboy TV, where she appeared in a series of videos like 1992's The Girls of the Cabaret Royale and the steamy film The Red Chair. Though she had the chance to possibly become a Playmate, Jennifer turned it down in favor of completing her academic studies.
