Jaime Pressly is a model and actress famous for her role as Joy on the TV series "My Name is Earl". She was born in July 30th, 1977 in Kingston, North Carolina. Her mother was a dancer instructor and Jaime followed in these footsteps. For eleven years, the young Pressly studied dance as well as gymnastics. She also modeled for the agency International Cover Model Search and became their spokesperson at the age of 14. Pressly moved to California with her mother while her parents were going through a divorce.
When she was 15, Pressly got a modeling job in Japan but neither of her parents could accompany her as required. Rather than miss the opportunity, she emancipated her parents so she could go alone. In 1997, Pressly's acting career started to take off when she was cast as Violet in the film "Poison Ivy: The New Seduction". She also got roles in several TV series, including "Jack and Jill" in which Pressly starred as Audrey from 1999 to 2001. At this time, Pressly became the spokes model for Liz Claiborne and was also ranked in Stuff magazine's list of the sexiest women in the world.
Proving herself a woman of many talents, Pressly launched a lingerie line called "J'Aime" in 2003. In 2005, Pressly got the role which would really establish her career as an actress. She was cast as Joy in "My Name is Earl" and won an Emmy in 2007 for her performance.
Pressly was in a relationship with DJ Eric Cubiche from 1996 to 2008. They had a son together in 2007. Despite the fact that they were engaged, the couple never married. Pressly later married Simran Singh, an entertainment lawyer, in 2009.
