Estella Warren was born December 23, 1978 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Her mother worked as an elementary school headmistress and her father sold used cars at a dealership. She also has two younger sisters. From the age of seven, Estella Warren showed talent in swimming. At the age of 12, Warren left her home and family to train in synchronized swimming for the Canadian National Team. Warren won the Canadian National Championships three years in a row. She represented Canada in the World Aquatic Championship and placed second.
Despite the fact that Estella Warren had a chance to go on the Olympics at the age of 17, her career took a different turn. She was modeling for a high school charity fashion show when a talent scout discovered her. He took a picture of Warren and sent it to a modeling agency in New York City. Almost immediately after, the agency paid for her to come to New York and signed her to a contract. Her first shoot was for Italian Vogue magazine which led to a huge amount of exposure. Afterwards, Estella Warren was on the cover of many magazines such as Elle, GQ, Sports Illustrated and Marie Claire.
In 1998, her modeling career expanded into TV commercials when she began to work with Chanel No.5. Estella Warren then decided to pursue acting further and she appeared in the independent film "Perfume" in 2001. After this, Warren got roles in larger films such as "Planet of the Apes" and "Kangaroo Jack". She has also appeared on several TV shows and in music videos. Even though Estella Warren is kept busy with acting and modeling, she still loves to swim and also rides horses and plays the piano.
