Annett Renneberg was born in 1978 in Rudolstadt. In 1980 her family moved to Berlin, however she currently lives in Bremen. In 1991 she ended up by chance in the casting as the main character Anja in Rainer Behren's film of the novel Offspring of the beautiful soul. In the interim Annett Renneberg also followed her dream of becoming an opera singer and started her singing education.
In April 2004 Peer Gynt premiered in Berlin and was also given in Vienna, Edinburgh, Bochum, Thessaloniki, Budapest and Lisbon. Alexander Nanau produced the film entitled Peter Zadek produces Peer Gynt. Also in 2004 Annett Renneberg enjoyed the title role in the premier of Lina by Marcus Hille, directed by Uwe-Eric Lauffenberg at the Hans Otto Theater, Potsdam. She played Karoline von Gunderrode The same year Annett Renneberg appeared for the first time as solo artist - Upon Harald Seidelas invitation to appear in the context of the series Prominence in Conversation she presented Colorful Pictures at the Greiz castle. Accompanied by pianist Frank Eerenstein she sang songs by Mozart, Strauss, Reutter and Hollaender, framed in biographical anecdotes and by many stories of her favorite topic, Love.
