Annalynne McCord is a young actress who gained her fame for her role on the series Nip/Tuck. She was born July 16th, 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia.
McCord did not attend public schools and was instead homeschooled in her suburban town. From an early age, the girl was encouraged to act. She was began to perform in community productions when she was just nine years old. Because she was homeschooled, McCord was able to graduate from high school at the age of 15. After graduating, she participated in the "Actors, Models and Talent Competition," or AMTC. She won a contact which led to her moving to Miami to pursue acting studies. During this time, Annalynne McCord joined the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency and was given many jobs for large brand names. Amongst them, Annalynne McCord modeled for Estee Lauder and also for Seventeen Magazine.
Annalynne McCord's first acting role was in the 2002 movie The Middle of Nowhere and then the 2006 film Transporter 2. Around this time, McCord also began to get small parts and appearances on TV series such as The O.C.,Cold Case, Ugly Betty, CSI: Miami and others. In the 2007 MTV series American Heiress, McCord played Loren Wakefield, a rebellious rich girl. After this series ended shortly, she was cast in the MTV series Rules of Deception though it never aired. In 2007, Annalynne McCord got a break when she was cast on the FX popular series Nip/Tuck as Eden Lord and stayed with the show for 12 episodes through 2009. McCord was cast for the new series 90210 in the central role.
In addition to acting, Annalynne McCord does a lot of charity work and has a clothing line that donates to charity as well. She is dating the actor Kellan Lutz.
