Adele was born 19 November 1980 in Greater London.�She is a UK actress and a TV personality, who started acting since the very young age.

She finished Sylvia Young Theatre School. Adele was only 9 years old when she appeared on Doctor Who's story "Survival" as Squeak. Still young, she also appeared on "EastEnders", "Mr Majeika" and "The Bill".

In UK, she is best known for her role as Kelly Windsor in Emmerdale, a TV soap opera. Adele played this role for 7 years, from 1993 to 2000, taking a break and then returning 5 years later in 2005. Her role was one of the most explicit for the soap operas from running away with her teachers to having a relationship with her stepbrother. When she returned in 2005, she was promising to be UK's �"Amanda Woodward from Melrose Place".

While she was absent from the soapopera, she was still active in the media and appeared in various shows as well as reality programmes(Fear Factor, The Salon, I'm Famous and Frightened)�and modeled more than acted.

She had an operation to increase her breast size and appeared in FHM in 2005 talking about it. She then left Emmerdale in 2007, advising that she will come back in late 2008, but at the beginning of the year issued a statement to say that she won't be coming back any time soon. She was in "Hell's Kitchen", "Big Brother's Big Mouth" and "Celebrity Weakest Link".

Pursuing career other than acting, she released a limited edition of wines (part of the internet reality show) in September 2008, did some pantomime work, was a contestant in celebrity version of Total Wipeout and is currently working as a sales assistant in Ted Baker's shop in Melrose Avenue shop in Hollywood. Adele Silva went from a pin-up girl to a shop assistant.
